Greece: Gods, Legends, and Heros
On this journey, we'll follow the path of classical heroes and legends. The trip begins in Athens and finishes in Thessaloniki (The culinary capital of Greece). On the journey, we'll stop at the temples of two ancient oracles, explore the battlefield where the 300 Spartans fought Xerxes, wander through a peninsula full of natural beauty and mythological secret sights, and view the home of the gods. My intention with this trip is for us all to have an outer and inner journey as we roam. There are deep themes that Greece's history and legends naturally inspire: courage, sacrifice, rebirth, the good life, etc. Let's dig into these ideas, location by location, and see what wisdom we can gather from each other and the land.

Vampire: Origins - Serbia to Romania
If you love the vampire mythos, this is a must-do exploration into the genesis of the lore. Beginning at the massive fortress in Belgrade, we will set the historical stage upon which the undead were first documented. Traveling down the legendary Danube River, you'll visit the village of the earliest known vampire attack. The adventure continues into Romania as we cross the Iron Gates and travel to the land of Dracula. There will be plenty of cemeteries, underground passages, and castles. We will eat, drink, and dance. You will tread the same earth as the legends of the night and, in a secret ceremony, attempt to channel their spirits.

You and I will retrace a sensational season 1 adventure: A traverse of the world's highest motorable road... A big feather in any motorcyclist's (or adventurer's) cap.
Starting in the laid back hippy town of Manali, we'll mount Enfield bikes (or seats available in a support SUV) and cruise over the stunning Himalayas. Our destination is Leh and the monasteries surrounding her... clustered in the cliffs and full of secrets.

The essence of travel
If you've seen Road Less Traveled you know my passion is to find the edges of a destination. In those niches of unusual activities, forgotten communities, and bizarre rituals, we find the soul of a place. We connect with locals on a human level, not a transactional one. We'll stay in nice places and eat great food. There will be an easy option for every challenging one.
The schedules of these tours are designed as travel shows are planned. There will usually be a central mission with side adventures, plus downtime to lean back and savor the moments. You'll return home with an intimate experience, some fantastic stories, and a true connection to the destination and its people. I keep the numbers super low so we can get to know each other and move in touch with our environment.
Flexibility is a key component of good travel, so we'll stay open to random misadventures. We aren't traveling to check boxes and scratch off a to-do list, but rather to experience a destination as it unfolds before us. We'll approach the unfolding as true adventurers: with courage, good humor, and an open heart.
