How we begin our days and end them has an enormous impact on quality of life. Next scroll social media for 5 minutes, stop, and take note of your state. Are you full of contentment and peace?

I like you grew up in a small town in Illinois. I don't know if the things you do as an evening routine are compatible with that upbringing. Very mysterious and feels kind of unusual.

Thanks for watching my friend and thanks for checking out the blog. You're right that the evening routine stuff did not sprout from a midwestern upbringing. The best things I got from Illinois were punctuality and reliability. Piecing together my current lifestyle required exposure to a variety of different experiences. Spending months abroad and digging into a region's psyche always pulls out ideas to dial in perspective... sort of like that machine at the optometrist's office where different lenses click before your eyes as the chart gets crisper.
